Army Officers Model 1902 Etched Sword with Scabbard - Francis Bannerman

Model 1902 Army Officers Etched Sword with Scabbard. T
he ricasso is marked "Francis Bannerman" over "New York N.Y.". The guard is a little loose and the grip is tight. The guard is a little deformed. The black paint on the metal grip has a few spots of paint loss. The etched blade
has "US", an eagle, and other etched designs
, it is straight, mostly clean with some light age spots scattered throughout, it has been lightly sharpened (very sharp) and the tip is very sharp. The scabbard is solid with a couple small dings, and there are nickel loss spots
(like cow spots)
with some pitting throughout. Leather washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 32" (15/16" wide x 1/4" thick), length of the sword is 37 5/16", and overall in the scabbard it is 36 1/2".
