Made for shooting and temples taper inward for tight fit. Most pair show minor edgewear and surface imperfections. In storage for years and will probably need minor frame & sweat bar straightening or adjustment. Some temples may be loose and also need adjustment. Lens may show some signs of minor imperfections and ES stamp on lens is paint sticker and will wash off. I will drop oil in screws if needed before shipping as original lubrication has evaporated in some pair. All tags/stickers have been removed and pics have been enhanced for clarity. Gold frame color/tone will vary a little from pics.

    Description

Vintage 14k gold aviator shooting glasses feature impact resistant UV MAX clear glass lens, cable hook temples and beige plastic sweat bar. The frame is lightweight but has that "beefier" feel to it. Lens width is 58 mm and vertical 49 mm both measured to the best of my ability. Front to back measures 130 mm and accommodates up to a 140 mm fit.
These were probably "picked and sorted" for minor defects by original manufacturer and have been in storage for years. I have cleaned them up and sorted any that may have excessive frame or lens defects. I recommend having an optical professional adjust any minor frame, temple, bridge and/or sweat/brow bar imperfections for added longevity.
    Decade is a best guess.
Using protective eyewear is a high priority safety precaution when operating firearms. Whether hunting or on the shooting range
    a
ccidents happen. Hunters can get hit with errant birdshot, a ricochet or simply have excessive powder blowback and wearing safety glasses will highly reduce the chances of eye damage. Shooting Glasses will also help protect eyes when spent cartridges are ejected and excessive muzzle flash occurs at the range.
