    Archive of 19 borderless reference photographs from the 1960 film. Ten of the photographs depicting crew at work on the set, four of which feature director Franju. Three photographs with the stamp of photographer P. Brard on the verso.
    Based on the novel by Jean Redon, about a doctor who goes to horrific lengths to restore his daughter's face after it was disfigured in an accident. Although passed by censor board, the films graphic surgical scenes caused controversy, and it was originally shown in the United States in a heavily edited version titled "The Horror Chamber of Dr. Faustus."
