The width and super-fine braid of this flux-containing copper desoldering braid makes it excellent for use with the small components involved in repair/refurbishment of electronic circuit boards, especially the removal of existing components and clean-up of the circuit board so that a new part can be soldered in place. The presence of flux in the braid itself simplifies removal procedures.
ESD safe, RoHS compliant, this braid comprises high-purity, oxide-free copper supplied by one of North America's pre-eminent suppliers. Residues are environmentally and PCB-safe. Convenient 5-ft length should be sufficient for occasional to moderate micro-soldering use; high-throughput repair technicians may want to consider multiple rolls.
