    This document is the naturalization certificate of
    Gustav Adolph Spatzier (1836-1896)
    . He was born in Saxony, emigrated via New York to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 1857, moved to Indiana but returned to Bethlehem in 1864. He was trained as a shoemaker, but worked in the Zinc Works and the Bethlehem Iron Works in South Bethlehem.
    The naturalization took place in the Court of Common Pleas, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
